Coloring book raises funds for United Way
FOR CITY TIMES
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The “A Season of Giving” coloring book will soon be distributed (free of charge) to local nonprofits and other agencies that help with the care of children (including the Boys and Girls Club, the Family Center, the YMCA, therapy/mental health agencies, local hospitals/clinics, and some area classrooms).
Due to the generosity of the sponsors of the coloring book, a check for $4,500 will be given to the United Way of South Wood and Adams Counties to help local non-profits during the holiday season. The sponsors of the project include Paul Gross Jewelers, Nekoosa Port Edwards State Bank, Therapies Plus, Chris Inda (NextHome), Bassuener Trucking and Excavating, The Investor’s Choice (Scott Paterick), Safe-WAY Bus Transit, Erco Worldwide, David Farmbrough (Coldwell Banker), Prosticker, Mariani, Ruder Ware, Riverhill Dental, WIRI 105.5 FM radio, Domtar, Midland, EO Johnson and Quality Plus Printing.
“A Season of Giving” is an effort of several area businesses to give back to our wonderful community. We are blessed to do business in the Heart of Wisconsin.
