Police & Sheriff Calls for Jan. 11-12

Guinea Pig: At 3:15 a call was made from the 1300 block of Daly Ave. regarding an ad found on Craigslist for a guinea pig. After making contact with the seller, the seller allegedly made sexual comments towards the caller.
Another Train: At 5:49 p.m. a complaint was made from the are of 17th Ave. South and Bonow Ave. concerning a train that had been blocking the roadway for close to 45 miniutes.
Vomitorium: At 11:25 a call was made from a business on the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a woman in the store who had just recently shoplifted — she was with a man, who vomited all over the floor.
Jan. 12
Born Free: At 1:35 p.m. a complaint was made from the 2000 block of Pleasant View Dr. in regards to a dog that was running free in the area and was allegedly ‘vicious’ — after making the contact, the dog turned out to be extremely friendly.
Red Spot: At 7:29 p.m. an elderly woman called dispatch to report seeing a ‘red spot’ on the sidewalk in front of a residence on the 1300 block of Wisconsin St.
Suspicious Van: A call was made at 8:59 p.m. concerning a white cargo van sitting in front of a house for 15-20 minutes before driving off.
