WISCONSIN RAPIDS — It is officially spring, and the 2018 farmers market season is right around the corner. With the many changes to the downtown area you may be wondering about your favorite farmers market.
The Wisconsin Rapids Downtown Farmers Market, formerly known as Wood County Farmers Market or Rapids Mall Market, will open Saturday June 2. You can find the Wisconsin Rapids Downtown Farmers Market every Thursday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM – Noon, through the end of October.
Thanks to the generosity of the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club, the market will continue to function in last year’s location for the 2018 season. The market is located at 555 W. Grand Avenue outside the VA clinic.
Wood County Health Department and Wood County WIC will aid in the management of the market and will have market managers on-site during market hours. If you are interested in vending at the Wisconsin Rapids Downtown Farmers Market please attend a market information and registration date. Market registration dates will also include WIC vendor training and EBT information.
