Rome annual State of Our Water Quality luncheon is June 8

ROME – The town of Rome and Tri-Lakes Management Association will host its annual State of Our Water Quality luncheon at the Rome Town Hall on June 8 at 11 a.m.
Presentations and exhibits will focus on the state of the 14-Mile Creek watershed and the EPA plan for restoration of our watershed. Keynote speaker is Patrick Goggin; he will talk about what makes for a healthy lake and what all stakeholders in the 38-mile watershed can do to improve the quality of water in the 14-Mile Creek and the water in our lakes in the town of Rome.
Lunch is provided and prize drawings will he held.
Lakes area property owners and interested parties throughout the area are invited to attend.
