Slithery intruder
On July 30 at 11:10 a.m. a Grand Rapids male reported that he had found a legless visitor in the well of his window, at a Ashbury Drive residence in Grand Rapids.
August 1, 2019
Runaway
On August 1 at 8:41 p.m. a Grand Rapids female reported that a 12-year-old female had run away. The child was last seen in black sweatpants, a black sleeveless shirt, a maroon hoodie, and was possibly barefoot.
Break-in
On August 1 at 6:24 p.m. a Rock female reported that someone had broken into her house. The complainant stated that she suspected the break-in occurred sometime that day between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. and stated that while she had not found anything to be missing. The front doors of the residence were open and the back door had been broken.
Attempted break-in
On August 1 at 9:52 a.m. a Nekoosa female reported that someone had broken the lock on the door leading up the stairs to the upper level of an apartment. The complainant stated that while the lock had been broken, the party had not been able to successfully gain entry to the apartment. The incident occurred at a residence on Garrison Avenue in Nekoosa.
August 5, 2019
Gunshot wound
On August 5 at 2:04 p.m. the Wood County Sheriff’s department received a call in which a gunshot wound was reported. No other information was given other than that the subject was in a silver truck out on Tower Road in Saratoga before the call disconnected.
Lightning McQueen
On August 5 at 8:39 p.m. an anonymous complainant reported that a yellow Mustang sped past their house early in the morning. The complainant stated that this was not an isolated incident and that the vehicle often goes around 40 or 50 miles an hour.
