Wisconsin Rapids nets win in Appleton

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids boys basketball team traveled to Appleton North High School on Feb. 11 for a nonconference game where they netted a win over Appleton North.
Wisconsin Rapids had a commanding lead over North with a 32-16 lead at halftime. During the second half, Appleton was able to keep up a little more and Rapids only outscored them by six. Wisconsin Rapids won the game 58-37.
Leading Wisconsin Rapids on the floor was Grant Flory, scoring 28 points for his team. Nathan Krommenakker added 10 points.
The Rapids team plays again on Feb. 13 at Merrill and Feb. 18 at D.C. Everest High School.
