DOT to begin road work on WIS 73

MADISON – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will begin work on WIS 73, addressing culvert repairs, culvert replacements, beam guard replacement, and intersection reconstruction at WIS 186 and County Road D. Work will also involve installing a concrete overlay on the Hemlock Creek Bridge, between Poplar Lane and Pine Drive, removal and replacement of asphalt, and pavement markings.
Traffic will be maintained on a single lane with flaggers during daylight hours, for most of the work. The concrete bridge overlay will be one lane with temporary signals. No work will be performed from July 2 at noon to July 6 at 6 a.m.
Main construction work is scheduled to begin June 17 and last until mid-August.
