Miss Wisconsin Rapids, Outstanding Teen tickets available
FOR CITY TIMES
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Tickets can now be purchased online for the 2023 Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship competition, set for Saturday, Nov. 5th starting at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center in Wisconsin Rapids.
The organization is finding “Strength in Sisterhood”, by adding a new Miss Wisconsin Rapids Outstanding Teen competition and title this year. This teen program is open to young women ages 13 to 18 and allows for additional scholarship and professional development opportunities for ladies in the Wisconsin Rapids area.
Cassidy Sairs, the reigning Miss Wisconsin Rapids 2022, will crown her successor, along with the new Miss Wisconsin Rapids Outstanding Teen, at the culmination of the show. The current Miss Wisconsin, Grace Stanke, and Miss Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen, Evelyn Green, will be in attendance and will perform during the show.
Tickets for the competition are currently for sale online at www.misswisconsinrapids.org for $20. Tickets can also be purchased on-site the day of the show, but they are assigned seating. Those planning to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
Since early September, Miss and Teen candidates have been diligently preparing for the competition with weekly workshops including talent practice, mock interviews, on-stage question preparation, and development of their social impact initiatives. These are causes that each woman is passionate about and wishes to advocate for and promote should she win Miss Wisconsin Rapids.
Each Miss candidate will compete in the following phases of competition: private interview; social impact pitch; on-stage question and red carpet (otherwise known as evening gown).
Each Teen candidate will compete in the following phases of competition: private interview; fitness; talent; and red carpet and on-stage question (combined).
