Music Fest Spotlight: Paul Cebar and the Tomorrow Sound
By Joe Bachman
Music from the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa will be delivered from Milwaukee to Wisconsin Rapids on Saturday night as apart of Music Fest.
Paul Cebar and the Tomorrow Sound headline Music Fest at Robinson Park to culminate what will be a celebration of music in central Wisconsin. Cebar’s musical journey starts as early as 11-years-old, where he was exposed to funk music at a 1960’s Milwaukee music festival.
Cebar began performing anywhere he could during the 70’s and eventually grew into becoming a member of the R&B band The R&B Cadets. Cebar’s reputation grew, and soon into the late 80’s was playing bigger venues in Chicago and Minneapolis.
Drummer Reggie Bordeaux is no stranger to music success, as he at one time played drums for Prince. The band continues to tour the states annually with their latest album dropping in 2014.
