Police & Sheriff Calls for March 9-11

Shopping Cart: At 11:16 a.m. a call was made to dispatch to inform police that a grocery store shopping cart was found all the way at Canal St.
Car vs. Tree: At 11:45 a.m. a call was made to report a vehicle crashing into a tree outside of a business on the 1100 block of W. Grand Ave.
Cigarette Burn: At 11:30 p.m. an ambulance was called for a report of a 57-year-old male who accidentally burnt his face with a cigarette.

Future Arsonists: At 4:19 p.m. authorities were notified of kids at an abandoned house on Fifth St. North playing with lighter fluid.
Walking Circles: At 12:50 p.m. a report was made of a person dressed in purple walking around in circles in their home on First St. North. They were simply waiting for a cab.
Middle of the Road: A call was made from the area of Alton St. and 18th Ave. North regarding a woman walking in the road who was previously laying in the road after hitting her head.

Stranger Danger: At 7:29 p.m. a report was made outside of an elementary school on 17th Ave. South to report a man in a black hoodie hanging out in the playground while children were present.
Lost & Found: At 12:17 a.m. police were called over found drugs at a gas station on Lincoln St. It would later be revealed that is was plastic, and not drugs.
