Who let the dogs out?: At 7:27 a.m. a call was placed to dispatch from Mead Elementary in regards to two dogs running around in the area. An officer located the dogs on Alton St. and 18th Ave., but was unable to catch them. The incident has been closed.
If walls could talk: At 8:50 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a residence on the 1300 block of 23rd Ave. S. in regards to a frantic woman. She was reported to be mumbling and informed the officer that she is hearing things talking in the walls. An ambulance was called for her and the incident has been closed.
Bakers’ Dozen: A call placed from an employee at RCO Computers at 9:28 a.m. complained that a vehicle was doing donuts in the parking lot of the business next door, causing rocks to hit the side of the RCO Computers building. The incident is currently closed.
Gas Thief!: At 6:48 p.m. a call was placed to dispatch from the Shell gas station on the 200 block of 8th St. S. regarding a customer who drove off without paying for $20.36 in gas. An officer would catch up to the thief, and she agreed to go back and pay for the gas. The incident is now closed.
Disturbing Behavior: At 8:10 p.m. a call was placed from a concerned resident on the 200 block of Canal St. in regards to a man wearing a mask. This masked man repeatedly would come to the resident’s door, but never knocked or made an attempt to break in. This masked man was believed to be carrying unknown weapons. The resident locked their family into the bathroom, temporarily, until police arrived. Officers reported seeing nothing of suspicion in the area, and continued to canvas the area for the night. The incident has been closed.
