WRPD Looking for Jewelry Thief

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department is looking for a thief who allegedly stole jewelry valued at more than $7,000. According to police documents the jewelry was taken from a home on the 300 block of Drake Street at some point in the last two months. The victim notified police on April 2, saying she didn’t look at her jewelry everyday and had just noticed it was missing.
A pair of diamond/sapphire earrings, a marque sapphire and diamond V-shaped gold necklace, an opal necklace with a gold chain and several size 8 rings, including a ruby and diamond ring, are among the items taken.
Police say they have no suspects at this time.
