School Daze: At 7:42 AM a call was made by a mother from the 2500 block of 3rd St. S in regards to her 9 year old son who was “out of control” and refused to go to school. An officer would later assist the child to school, and the incident has been closed.

Problem Child: At 2:09 PM a call was made from Mead Elementary School regarding a student who was causing problems and wouldn’t go home with his mother. An officer made sure that the student made it safely inside his mother’s vehicle, and the incident has been closed.

Fireworks in January: At 3:05 PM a call was made reporting fireworks being lit off on the 1900 block of 27th Ave. S. The claim, however, was unfounded and the incident has been closed.

It’s coming from the basement!: At 2:46 AM a call was put into dispatch from a resident on the 1400 block of 23rd St. N. in regards to complaints of hearing loud banging or pounding coming from the basement. After police investigated the area, nothing was found in the basement, and the incident has since been closed.
