Police & Sheriff Calls for Apr. 12
Tampering with a Truck: At 12:54 p.m. a call was made from the 2700 block of 12th St. South regarding complaints of the caller’s truck being tampered with over a few nights. Most recently, the snap on tarp was flipped over.
Throwing Sticks: At 5:39 p.m. a call was made from the corner of 2nd St. South and Clyde Ave. regarding three kids, ages three to five, throwing sticks at passing cars.
Loose Pitbull: At 4:02 p.m. a call was made from the 400 block of 9th Ave. North regarding a pitbull running loose in the area, and may have attacked another dog. The owners were aware that the dog was on the loose and were trying to find him. The owners found and have the dog back.
Leave it to Beaver: At 7:30 p.m. a call was made from the corner of 16th St. South and Lily Ln. regarding a beaver stuck in a manhole. The beaver eventually crawled through the pipes and escaped.
