Witter Field to Host Multiple Events This Saturday

Not often do so many unique events take up one area, but Saturday will bring a week’s full worth of activities onto one field.
This Saturday at Witter Field, there will be a number of events and exhibitions held as a part of Cranberry Blossomfest this weekend. The day will kick off with a Cranberry Blossom Quilt Show at 9:00 a.m., hosted by the Material Girls Quilt Club, where many quilted creations will be featured.
An hour later marks the start of the Arts, Crafts and Cranberries Fair, hosted by the Heart of Wisconsin. This fair will feature an array of framed art, candles, jewelry, woodcrafts, and more.
At the same time, 10:00 a.m. sharp, Festival Eats and Treats gets underway. This festival offers many cranberry inspired food, beverages and treats for all ages.
Not to be outdone, the Sixth annual “Cruise-In” car show revs up. This event will be hosted by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 101.
Finally, at 11:00 a.m. the carnival opens it’s doors and will offer rides, games and food on the Witter Field grounds. The Cranberry Blossomfest carnival also has a late start time of 4:00 p.m. on Friday for those who can’t make it, and Sunday at noon.
