Police & Sheriff Calls for Jun. 25
Gas Thief: At 8:42 a.m. a call was made from the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding the theft of $65 in gas.
911 Bonfire: At 11:03 p.m. a call was made from the 100 block of Oakbrook Ct. regarding a 911 hangup. Officers would find a bonfire and that the person who called simply butt-dialed 911.
It’s not the 4th, Yet: At 11:51 p.m. a call was made from the 3300 block of Norton St. regarding a complaint of loud fireworks and music. The party was advised to keep it down.
Too much fun: At 2:20 a.m. a call was made from the 100 block of 2nd Ave. South regarding a man hunched over in a his vehicle. Police would find that he was okay and was just waiting for the rest of his party to come out out of a nearby establishment.
