City Times Staff

On Dec. 7, 1941, 2,403 members of the military lost their lives at Pearl Harbor — this Wednesday, you are welcomed to help veterans pay respects.

Pearl Harbor Day is observed annually in the United States every Dec. 7 in honor of those fallen during the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. This year is the 75th anniversary of the tragic event.

It will be remembered at 11:00 a.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2534, located at 2711 Reddin Rd.  There will be a chili lunch offered after the ceremony.
