Wintry Conditions Lead to Multiple Accidents Over Weekend

Wintry conditions over the weekend led to multiple accidents.

According to reports, a Saturday accident involved two vehicles at the crossing of Peterson Ave. and 10th St. South. One vehicle slid into the other due to snowy conditions. One minor injury was reported.

Multiple accidents were reported on Sunday, the first occurred on the corner of Kuhn Ave. and 8th St. South and involved two vehicles. One vehicle rear-ended the other, and one injury was reported. Another one vehicle accident was also reported on the corner of 2nd Ave. South and Gaynor Ave. No injuries were reported.

Another Sunday incident involved only one vehicle, which slid into a light pole on E. Riverview Expressway. The driver was reported to have suffered minor injuries. Another vehicle was reported to have slid into a fire hydrant on the corner of 7th St. North and Avon St.

As always, during hazardous conditions, drivers are urged to operate with the utmost caution.
