Sex Offender Information Bulletin
On 06/01/97, Wisconsin State Statute §301.45 & §301.46 – The Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification Law came into effect. Prior to this legislation, individuals similar to the one listed in this bulletin were being released into communities with only law enforcement agencies being notified.
Based on this law, The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, with the assistance of the Department of Corrections and the Wood County Sex Offender Classification Review Team is authorized to provide the following information to select areas of the community. Based on the law, neighbors, schools and businesses in the vicinity of the residence of the offender are being notified via this bulletin.
On December 28, 2016 the following person will relocate residences and reside at 510 7th Avenue South in the City of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
Jerome J. Luedtke
Height: 5’ 6”
Marks: Scars: Left thigh, 3” left ankle, forehead
Mr. Luedtke was convicted of 2 counts of 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child in 1994 and 1 count of 4th Degree Sexual Assault in 1991. He was also convicted of 1 count 4th Degree Sexual Assault in 1984.
Mr. Luedtke will be living 510 7th Ave. South in the City of Wisconsin Rapids. He is a lifetime registered sex offender and must comply with all requirements upon release including lifetime GPS monitoring. He is under supervision with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections until 4/18/2018.
