The American Heroes Cafe honored Grace’s Family Restaurant for all that they do for local veterans.

Grace’s Family Restaurant provides breakfast for the Heroes Cafe every Wednesday, and to show appreciation for all that they do, a wooden eagle plaque was presented as a show of gratitude to owners Kelly & Luis Munguia last week.

“We decided as a group to contract a local craftsman to make them the eagle to put up in their restaurant.” said Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 101 Vice President  and Heroes Cafe founder Bill Haack. “They’ve been very supportive — the guys look forward to the breakfast.”

The plaque was created by local craftsman Rich Ehlert.

The Heroes Cafe recently moved to the Woodlands Church, located at 1000 E. Riverview Expressway #120. To view the plaque, all are welcomed to visit Grace’s Restaurant is located at 1371 8th St. South.
