Police & Sheriff Calls for Jan. 26-28
Jan. 26
Hot Shot: A call was made from the 500 block of W. Grand Ave. concerning a man in a vehicle who was ‘blasting’ music for over half an hour, and refused to move his vehicle.
Aspiring Arsonist: A call was made during the afternoon from a residence on the 500 block of 7th Ave. North stating that they received threats to burn down their house and ‘slit their throat’.
Drunk in Public: At 12:24 a.m. a call was made from a business on the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. concerning an intoxicated man in the store, and allegedly was swerving while leaving the parking lot.
Jan. 27
Doggy Dung: At 10:42 a.m. a call complaint was made from the 1500 block of E. G St. over a dog who allegedly keeps ‘pooping’ on his sidewalk.
Lost & Found: At 7:15 p.m. a manager at a store on the 1800 block of Baker St. reported finding a syringe in the public bathroom.
Keep it Down: At 11:53 p.m. a complaint was made regarding loud music coming from the 1700 block of Elm St.
Jan. 28
Suspicious Texts: At 9:15 a.m. a call was made from a residence on Reddin Rd. over suspicious texts received by her 10-year-old son.
‘Jump’ Him: At 2:13 a.m. a call was made from a tavern on 2nd St. North concerning reports of a couple of bikers who were allegedly about to ‘jump’ someone behind the bar.
Wounded Eye: At 3:13 a.m. an ambulance was sent to the the 200 block of 13th Ave. North concerning a man with a large gash over his eye.
