Here is your top five weekend events in the Wisconsin Rapids area.

Friday, March 17-19
Freddie’s Pub & Eatery St. Patrick’s Day Weekend — All Weekend

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Freddie’s Pub & Eatery, as they will be offering Irish drink specials, green beer, Reuben sandwiches, corned beef and cabbage, beef hash, and much more. Live DJ and music on all three nights. For more information, check out their Facebook page.

Friday, March 17
King Cone Opens — 12:00 p.m.

Celebrate the luck of the Irish with the first taste of King Cone ice cream of the season. King Cone is located at 1621 Baker St.

Friday, March 17
Shallow Halal — 7:00 p.m.

Award-winning comic Sajeeta Kershi will be performing a “thought-provoking and heart-warming” show about growing up in a Pakistani-Muslim family. This show will be held at the Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre as a part of ARTi Gras.

Friday, March 17
Atlas Improv! — 8:30 p.m.

An evening of improv with audience participation. This is held as a part of ARTi Gras week, and you can catch this comedic riot at the Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre. Tickets are $15.

Saturday, March 18
Champagne Piano Concert — 6:30 p.m.

The closing event of ARTi Gras will see a special piano concert held by UWSP Professor of Piano Molly Roseman. Tickets are $20 and will be held at the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center, located at 240 Johnson St.

Saturday, March 18
WRYSA Fundraiser — All Day

Join the Wisconsin Rapids Youth Sports Association for a special fundraiser at Wild Horse. There will be live music, food, beer, raffles, and an all day bags tournament. For more information, please click here.
