Lola Mae Pritchard, 93
Lola Mae Pritchard, age 93, formerly of Adams and Necedah, Wis., went to her eternal glory on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Fair View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Mauston.
She was born July 24, 1923 to Charles and Margaret (Baumgartner) Ottosen in Wyeville, Wis.
Lola worked as a cook at the nutrition center in Adams and many years at the Adams County Sheriff’s Department before retiring. In her earlier years, she worked at the Badger Army Ammunition Plant in Baraboo. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, snowmobiling, gambling, socializing, and classic country music.
Lola is survived by her children: Andrew (Christie Russell-Butler) Pritchard, Merritt Island, Fla.; Renee (James Sr.) Suzda, Rudolph; and Yvonne Adrian, Rockledge, Fla. Grandchildren: James (Cindy) Suzda Jr., Corey (Kim) Suzda, Cheryl Steen, John Steen, Van Adrian, Kevin (Maggie) Adrian, Tammy Fitts, Dino (Bobbie Jo) Martello, Donnie (Amy) Martello; great-grandchildren: Erica, Daniel, Vanessa, Chad, Brandon, Alicia, Christopher, Joshua, Kayla, Cody, Milana, Samantha and Brady; and son-in-law, Dan Steen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess C. Pritchard; daughters, Kathryn Penny and husband, Richard; and Jacqueline Steen; step-grandson, Kevin; daughter-in-law, Marge Pritchard; three brothers, Carl (Bud) Ottosen, Robert Ottosen, and Harry Ottosen; four sisters, Genevieve Bidar, Clara Murphy, Beverly Ristow, Carol Randles and Phyllis Ottosen.
A memorial service was held on April 1, 2017, at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Necedah, with Pastor David Delaney officiating, followed by a celebration of life luncheon. The Torkelson Necedah Family Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to her doctor(s) and the entire staff of Fair View Nursing Home, Mauston for the very compassionate and loving care they provided to Lola; and to Dan Steen, who was “always there” for her.
