May 18

Bathroom Break: At 3:31 p.m. a report was made from a business on the 900 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a man who urinated in the store.

Break-In: At 5:47 p.m. a call was made from the area of 11th St. South and Wisconsin St. to report a potential burglary.

WRPD to the Rescue: At 6:48 p.m. a call was made from the area of 3rd Ave. South and Jackson St. to report ducklings that were stuck in a sewer drain. The mission was a success, and the ducklings were rescued.

May 19

Lost Bullet: At 9:43 a.m. a report was made from the 400 block of E. Grand Ave. concerning a found unused 22 caliber bullet found in the area.

Ghost Pontoon: At 2:31 p.m. a report was made from the area of 1st St. North and Strawberry Ln. regarding an unoccupied pontoon boat heading down the river.

Mailbox Bandit: At 1:55 a.m. a complaint was made from the 1100 block of 12th St. South regarding a neighbor who was wrecking the caller’s mailbox.

May 20

False Threats: At 10:02 p.m. a call was made from the area of Gaynor Ave. to report that there were people threatening to kill each other across the street — these reports were unfounded.

Bored: At 1:14 a.m. a call was made from a parking lot on the 4300 block of 8th St. South to report multiple vehicles doing donuts.

May 21

Who Let the Horse Out?: At 9:48 a.m. a report was made of a miniature horse running around the area of 32nd St. and Kingston.

Kidnapped: At 2:30 p.m. a report was made from the 100 block of 14th Ave. South regarding a man who took a child from a house and sped off with him. Reports state that it was not a kidnapping, and that everything was okay.

Hairy Girl Scout: At 10:51 p.m. a call was made from the 100 block of 15th Ave. South to report a man with facial hair who knocked on the caller’s door to sell girl scout cookies.
