The City of Wisconsin Rapids is taking donations for this year’s Fourth of July fireworks demonstration.

Wisconsin Rapids Teen Fireworks Committee members are taking donations to reach a $18,000 goal for this year’s celebration. Made up by students from four different local area high schools, members have been contacting local businesses and municipalities to help donate to this year’s fund — however, they are asking residents to contribute what they can.

In addition, $1 from every cotton candy purchase at a Wisconsin Rapids Rafters game will go towards the fund.
