All Wood County Beaches to Close for Season

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — According to a news release, all Wood County beaches will be closed as of Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Other park areas remain open thru October 31, 2017. Beginning September 11, camping reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis at North Park and Dexter Park meaning no reservations will be taken. Due to the local BMX Tournament, reservations will be taken at South Park Campground through September 23.
