Police & Sheriff Calls for Sept. 25-26

Sept. 25

Garage Thief: At 12:04 p.m. a call was made from the 2400 block of Gaynor Ave. to report that when they came home their garage door was open, and items were missing from their boat.

Mailbox Bandits: At 9:46 p.m. a complaint was made from the 3100 block of 16th St. South regarding two men allegedly messing around with mailboxes in the area.

Garbage Picker: At 3:54 a.m. a call was made to report from the 1200 block of 28th St. South that they heard “a bunch of noise” from a nearby car. Police would find that somebody went through a garbage can.

Sept. 26

Recycle Bin: At 12:07 p.m. police were notified that a man from the 200 block of 5th St. North complained that he rode over a recycle bin that was in the middle of the sidewalk and ended up ruining his phone.

Mall Pest: A call was made from the mall to report that a man had been “terrorizing” the mall — he was promptly banned from the area.

Late Night Recess: Late into the night dispatch was notified of five teenagers playing around on the playground at a school on Washington St.
