WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Saturday saw the return of Royals quarterback Jake Sullivan, and Assumption made it count.
Contributing over 100 yards on the night, Sullivan helped bring the Royals to a 21-0 win, as he found paydirt twice in the contest. Running back Cole Statz put up nearly 100 yards, but he also found the endzone against an Owens-Withee team who had few answers for the Assumption offense.
They had even fewer answers for the Assumption defense, who held them to 200 yards and zero points.
Assumption has now rolled to three straight wins and holds a 5-3 record heading into their final regular season game against a 3-5 Thorp squad on Thursday night.
