WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Halloween is just around the corner, and for parents who do not want their children going door to door for trick-or-treating, there is a safer alternative.
The Boys & Girls Club will be hosting their second annual ‘Boo Bash’ on Tuesday, Oct. 31. This free event will run from 5Pm to 7PM at the Pitsch Center, 501 17th St. South.
This safe alternative to trick-or-treating event will include carnival games, a prize booth, a haunted maze, haunted house, and a free dinner. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
“Boo Bash at the Boys & Girls Club gives our community the opportunity to participate in a safe Halloween event that includes many activities outside of trick-or-treating,” said Boys & Girls Club Development Director Alysa Hetze. “At Pitsch we are taking measures to provide youth with a fun atmosphere without trick-or-treating dangers that are often overlooked like potential burns, falls, unsafe treats or other threats. This event is open to everyone in our community and we invite members and non-members alike to check out the Club, enjoy a meal, play carnival games, show off Halloween costumes and have fun.”
