Police & Sheriff Calls for Oct. 29-30

Reckless Semi: At 6:03 p.m. a complaint was made from the area of State Highway 73 concerning a semi-truck speeding recklessly, and passing other trailers on the road.
Backpack: At 9:06 p.m. a caller on the 2700 block of 12th St. South reported a suspicious man wearing a backpack who walked past her window twice.
Flower Bed Vandals: At 9:11 p.m. police were notified of a vehicle that crashed into a set of flower beds on Franklin St.

Window Vandal: At 7:53 a.m. a call was made from the 3300 block of Eighth St. South to report that their car window had been smashed out.
Window Vandal II: At 1:20 p.m. another call regarding a smashed car window was made from the 4200 block of Eighth St. South. A baseball bat was allegedly used, and both acts occurred at hotels.
Stolen Bike: A call was made in the early evening to report a stolen bike from a property on the 500 block of W. Grand Ave.
People Are Strange: At 12:01 a.m. police were informed of a man on the 400 block of 12th Ave. South acting “weird” and “agitated”.
