Police & Sheriff Calls for Dec. 27
Frozen Fido: At 7:32 a.m. a call was made to have authorities check on a dog at a house on Alton St. The caller believed the dog inside may have frozen to death. Luckily, police would check it out and the dog would be fine.
Tool Thief: A call was made in the morning to report the theft of a toolbox out of a truck.
Credit Card Theft: At 3:22 p.m. a call was made to report that someone from Brooklyn, N.Y. used her credit card to purchase a camera.
Hit-and-Run: In the late evening, an accident was reported near a gas station on 17th Ave. South where one vehicle fled the scene.
