WISCONSIN RAPIDS — It’s still not over yet.

The National Weather Service have issued a winter storm watch over the weekend, lasting from Friday night through Sunday night.

Freezing rain, sleet, and heavy snow are possible, with a total snow accumulation up to anywhere from 6-12 inches. As a result, a quarter-inch of ice build up is expected. The NWS also advises that strong winds are possible throughout.

It is advised to take caution when traveling over the weekend.
