Cultural Center offers July workshops

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center has added new workshops for July 2018:
Dragon Fly Art: July 16. Choose: Daytime noon – 2 p.m. or night 5:30-7:30 p.m. Repurpose fan blades and table leg spindles into a whimsical 24” x 42” garden dragonfly. Learn a colorful pour-painting technique to create your stunning outdoor yard art.
Stained Glass: July 21, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a break for lunch. Learn all the basic techniques of stained glass in one day using the copper foil method. Students will learn safety, types of glass, patterns, cutting, foiling, soldering, finishing, and take home a completed project. Four designs offered. Bring one glass cutter; all other materials provided. Lunch is on your own.
Mosiac Garden Art: July 23, 1- 4:30 p.m. Create a glass mosaic outdoor garden stake made of polycarbonate and colored glass attached to rebar in a black finish, approximately eight feet tall. Garden decoration is waterproof, super sturdy, and will last for years. Take home a unique garden stake ready to plant in your yard. All materials provided.
