Allen Braund annual blood drive is Jan. 5

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The seventh annual Allen Braund Memorial Blood Drive will be held Jan. 5 at the Elks Club in Wisconsin Rapids.
Braund passed away from leukemia in 2012. His family and friends host the drive each year, as a means of giving life to others.
Past Allen Braund Memorial blood drives have contributed some 330 units of blood and plasma for the Blood Center of Wisconsin — sole provider of blood to 57 hospitals in Wisconsin, including St. Michael’s in Stevens Point.
The drive will be held Jan. 5, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Elks Club, 430 W. Jackson St., Wisconsin Rapids.
