Riverkings sweep division leader

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Riverkings defeated the number one team in the Midwest West, Hudson Havoc, and swept the weekend, Feb 1-2, at home.
Friday night’s scoreboard read 3-1. Haralds Jirgens scored the first of the night and Captain Jesse Edwards had one goal and two assists on the night. Zack Hartley claimed the empty netter along with an assist on the night. Adam Peterson, Cole Creger, and Thimo Ey had assists as well.
Night two ended in a 2-1 victory, with Rich Young and Ey scoring on the night and Jordan Stear, Kyle Smith, and Peterson claiming assists.
The Riverkings will head to Hudson Feb. 8-9 for their final regular season road trip.
