WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A spaghetti dinner buffet will be held in support of the future outdoor learning center at Mead School, hosted by the Mead Outdoor Learning Center (OLC) and Mead Elementary Charter School.

Guests will enjoy a spaghetti dinner buffet provided by Great Expectations, student musical entertainment, raffles, and “mocktails” provided by J&J Bartending LLC.

The Mead Outdoor Learning Center will replace the asphalt area behind Mead Elementary Charter School. The space is planned to include a music and movement area, gathering and teaching area, garden area, climbing area, building area, nature art area, and an open grass area, along with various plantings, trees, and pathways.

Because the project will cost $97,000, multiple fundraisers have been organized to raise the needed funds.

The Power of the Heart Spaghetti Dinner Buffet will take place Feb. 21, 5-7 p.m. at Mead Elementary Charter School, 241 17th Ave. South, Wisconsin Rapids.
