Local wrestlers place at WIAA state tournament

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Two local wrestlers secured medals at the 2019 WIAA individual state tournament held Feb. 21-23 at the Kohl Center in Madison.
In Division 2, Blaze Thurber, Nekoosa/Assumption/Port Edwards, placed third in the 113 weight class, while his teammate, Craig Elsen placed fourth in the 138 pound weight class.
