Out of control resident
On Feb. 18 at 8:13 p.m., a female employee of a care facility reported that there was a resident who was being disruptive. The woman stated that the resident was throwing wads of paper at other employees and residents and was refusing to go to bed but had no weapons.
Possible break-in
On Feb. 18 at 10:29 p.m., a Wisconsin Rapids man reported that the padlock screws on his apartment door had been changed. The man stated that the change had happened at some point that day but that he did not believe anything to be missing.
February 19, 2019
Assault
On Feb. 19 at 8:13 a.m., a Grand Rapids man reported that another male had punched a female in the face. The man stated that he was unsure if the subject was still on the premises.
Setting off alarms
On Feb. 19 at 5:22 a.m. the commercial burglar alarm at a Wisconsin Rapids lawn service had been triggered. The complainant reported that the alarm on the southern backdoor had been set off and that the owner was contacted and confirmed that nobody should have been there at that time.
Creepy Van
On Feb. 19 at 6:24 p.m., a Wisconsin Rapids resident reported that there was a white van with windows that was driving back and forth down their street — North 11th Street — in Wisconsin Rapids. The complainant stated that the van had driven down the street and went by the residence eight or nine times that day alone and that there were one or two people in the vehicle.
February 20, 2019
Reported stalking
On Feb. 20 at 5:42 a.m., it was reported that a white Ford F150 had followed a Wisconsin Rapids resident’s daughter home from school. The complainant stated that it had been an older male in the vehicle.
Break-in and theft
On Feb. 20 at 5:42 a.m., a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported that someone had broken into her house. The woman stated that the door to her house had been kicked in, that it had happened in the last fifteen minutes, and that her wallet was missing.
