One injured in State Highway 73 crash

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a semi-truck carrying lumber collided with a minivan earlier today on northbound State Highway 73. Airbags were deployed, and an occupant of the minivan was airlifted to an area hospital.
The Wisconsin State Patrol, Waushara County Sheriff’s Office, and Plainfield Fire responded. The highway was closed most of the afternoon in the area, and the closure began at the County Highway F exit between Wisconsin Rapids and Plainfield.
