Theft
On August 8 at 8:33 a.m. a female reported that a theft had occurred over the past day or two. The complainant stated that four guitars, a welder, a rolling keyboard, chainsaws, weed trimmers, and various other items had been stolen out of a shed on her friend’s property. The incident occurred at a property on Main Street in Hewitt.
Animal abuse
On August 8 at 12:12 p.m. an anonymous Nekoosa resident reported that there were two young boys who were punching a cat. The complainant reported that the incident had taken place at a residence on Crestview Lane in Nekoosa about 20 minutes prior.
August 9, 2019
Break-in
On August 9 at 11:06 a.m. an employee of a public building reported that the building had been broken into. The employee stated that the doors to the concession stands had been kicked in, pipes had been broken, items had been smashed, and parking abutments had been taken.
Inappropriate shooting range
On August 9 at 12:20 p.m. a female reported that there was a group of subjects who were shooting guns in the direction of workers. The female stated that she did not think that the subjects were supposed to be on the land and requested that officers make contact with them. The incident took place on Hillcrest Avenue and Range Line Road in Saratoga.
August 12, 2019
Gun threats
On August 12 at 2:58 p.m. an employee of a Sherry store reported that an elderly male had been in the store last week and had caused a disturbance. Before he left, the male commented that he was going to “come back with an AK and clear out the place.”
Child menace
On August 12 at 3:32 p.m. a Saratoga female reported that there was a 9-year-old male child chasing around other children with knives and a lawnmower. The complainant stated that this was a recurring issue and requested officer intervention.
