Kidnapping Threat
On Nov. 26 at 8:27 a.m. the principal of a Wisconsin Rapids school reported that a student and their mother had been threatened with a kidnapping. The complainant stated that the child had stayed home that day and that the mother was currently waiting in the lobby of the police department.

Briefcase Blackmail
On Nov. 27 at 9:42 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that she was being scammed. The complainant stated that a group of individuals had sent her a video stating that they had found her friend’s briefcase and would only return it for $500.

The Grinch who stole Christmas
On Nov. 28 at 3:01 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that an unknown party had stolen the christmas lights off of her South 15th Street residence overnight.
December 1, 2019
Plow damage
On Dec. 1 at 1:56 p.m. an employee of a Wisconsin Rapids auto shop reported that a male had inflicted damage to a plow and had stolen some of its parts. The complainant stated that he had video footage of the incident.
