January 21, 2020

Domestic dispute 

On Jan. 21 at 8:28 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that her ex-boyfriend had started driving by her Washington Street residence after they broke up. The female stated that the male drove a 2003 Ford Ranger and that incidents often occur when he is drinking. The female requested extra patrol around the area.

 

January 20, 2020

Strange activity

On Jan. 20 at 10:07 a.m. it was anonymously reported that there was a male subject in a flannel shirt and loose pants who was walking down the middle of South 7th Street in Wisconsin Rapids and yelling at cars. The anonymous caller stated that the subject appeared to be under the influence of something.

 

January 19, 2020

Mail theft 

On Jan. 19 at 9:29 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that a white van had taken her mail and packages out of the mailbox of her Ridgeview Court residence. The female stated that her neighbors informed her of the incident and had video footage as well.

 

January 18, 2020

Disturbance 

On Jan. 18 at 7:59 p.m. a female employee of a Wisconsin Rapids restaurant reported receiving a call from a male who requested to speak with the manager. Once the manager picked up, the male began yelling profanities and stated “I hope you hang yourself tonight.” The manager stated he would call officers if it happened again.

January 16, 2020

Suspicious activity

On Jan. 16 at 8:24 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that there was a black Dodge truck with no license plates that had been sitting in front of her South Eighth Street residence for an hour. The female stated that the vehicle was running, and that she was unsure if it was occupied.
