Port Edwards takes a loss to Northland Lutheran

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Northland Lutheran hosted the Port Edwards girls basketball team for a non conference game on Jan. 28. Port Edwards trailed at the half, 43-20, and the Blackhawks tried to power back in the second half but couldn’t make up for the first half deficit, losing 70-50.
High scorers for the Blackhawks are Taylor Martin, with 21 points, and Dominique Griffith scored 19.
Port Edwards record falls to 1-14 overall, 1-7 in the Central Wisconsin Conference.
Next game for Port Edwards is Jan. 31, hosting Pacelli. This is a rescheduled game from Jan. 17.
