Bottles named Midwest Region Player of the Week

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings Forward Nathan Bottles has been named the USPHL Midwest Region Player of the Week.
Bottles (Flowerville, MI) exploded with seven points Jan. 24-25, helping the Riverkings to a two-game sweep over the Rochester Vipers.
The power forward started the season in the NCDC before joining the Riverkings.
On Friday, Bottles had one goal and one assist, and Saturday, he exploded for three goals and two assists for a seven-point weekend, giving him his first junior hat trick.
Nathan joined the team at the end of December.
