FOR CITY TIMES
WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Board of Education has accepted the resignation of Superintendent Craig Broeren, effective June 30. Broeren will be assuming the role of Superintendent in the St. Croix Falls School District beginning July 1.
The District will be posting the Superintendent vacancy soon, and intends to offer opportunities for local stakeholders to provide their input and feedback about the qualities and characteristics they feel are important to seek when the Board hires the next WRPS Superintendent. Information about the search process will be posted on the District website at www.wrps.org and also be shared on District social media channels as appropriate in the coming weeks. Staff members, students, families, and the community are encouraged to become involved in the process by providing feedback when the opportunity arises. The new Superintendent will begin his/her duties on July 1, 2024.
The Board would like to extend its deep appreciation to Mr. Broeren for his outstanding leadership of the District during the past seven years, and wishes him all the best at St. Croix Falls.
