Aspirus to Break Ground for Adams Clinic
For the City Times
ADAMS — Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics invites everyone to a ground breaking celebration for its new clinic in Adams. The celebration will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, May 17, at 419 North Oak Street.
Aspirus Riverview Clinic – Adams is scheduled to open December 2018. The 7,500-square-foot facility will include eight exam rooms, two procedure rooms, a laboratory and imaging services. The new clinic will provide the full continuum of care, from primary care to specialty outreach services. The project represents a $2.6 million investment in the future of Adams County and is anticipated to initially be staffed by approximately five employees.
“For the people of Adams County, Aspirus Riverview is the number one provider of outpatient services and the number two provider of inpatient services. Therefore, the time is right to bring our services closer to our patients in this area,” said Todd Burch, Aspirus Riverview CEO. “Adams County residents are currently traveling to Aspirus Riverview facilities in Nekoosa, Rome and Wisconsin Rapids.”
In addition to the new Adams clinic, Aspirus Riverview Hospital is constructing a new state-of-the-art emergency department and a new birthplace with hotel-like suites. Both projects are scheduled for completion in the winter of 2019. Additionally, Aspirus Riverview is renovating existing space on its Wisconsin Rapids campus for a behavioral health clinic to help meet the area’s growing need for mental health and substance abuse services.
