Police & Sheriff Calls for Sept. 1
Pitbull Party: At 11:43 a.m. a call was made from the 400 block of Piltz Ave. regarding a pitbull that was running loose in the area.
Plate Thief: At 3:01 p.m. an in-person complaint was made from a resident on the 1400 block of 27th Ave. South to report that his license plate was stolen off of his truck.
Yard Dumping: At 5:19 a call was made from the 400 block of 16th Ave. North for a complaint that someone dumped a large pile of items in their yard.
Creepy Scraper: At 3:07 a.m. a call was made to dispatch from Black Oak Cir. in fear that someone inside or outside the caller’s residence is messing around. The caller made complaints of hearing scraping metal, though nobody was around.
