Olympic Athlete to Speak at Benefit for Wood, Portage Counties

A United States Olympian and former professional football player is coming to Stevens Point to speak for the Junior Achievement of Wisconsin for Portage and Wood Counties.

Johnny Quinn is a professional speaker, and a current United States Olympian. He competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia on the United States Bobsledding Team. He has also played in the National Football League for the Buffalo Bills and the Green Bay Packers.

The program is centered around a positive mindset, cultivating change and overcoming obstacles that promote a winning attitude at home, at work and within the community.

Tickets are $35/person for PCBC members, and $40 for Prospectice PCBC members. The event will be held Tuesday, Mar. 22 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center in Stevens Point, located at 1001 Amber Ave.
