Nekoosa Drug Bust Lands Two in Police Custody

Two have been arrested after Nekoosa police found illegal substances during a search warrant on Saturday night.
According to a release by Chief of Police Shawn Woods at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Jul. 2, a search warrant was served on the 800 block of Point Basse Ave. in Nekoosa. Mindi Jansa, 39, and Michael Brost, 30, were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, with Jansa arrested for possession of heroin.
Brost was also arrested for violating probation.
