ADRC to Host ‘Living Well’ at Aspirus

Living Well is a six week workshop for adults living with arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, or any other chronic health condition. The workshop provides the tools to help manage symptoms and overcome obstacles.
Topics include:
- Dealing with frustration, fatigue, pain, and isolation
- Exercise for maintaining strength, endurance, and flexibility
- Appropriate use of medications
- Communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals
- Healthy eating
- And more.
This six-week course will be hosted at Aspirus Riverview, 410 Dewey St. Classes start Monday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m. and will run through June 19. Pre-registration is required — suggested contribution is $10.
